Rebel forces in the area of As Yet Unnamed are known for frequent attacks on the city, the surrounding areas, and its inhabitants. In response to escalating attacks, the national government has coordinated with the city and local governments to fund massive increases in resources for the City Guard, allowing for a quadrupling of the force to combat petty crime and violent offenders taking advantage of terrorism in the area. The Defense Department has also launched a new division of the armed forces tasked specifically with tackling the problem of terrorism. The Anti-Terror Corps, established during the 2015 Freedom Day celebrations, are a heavily armed branch of the military equipped and trained for anti-terror operations in urban environments. The men and women of the ATC ensure that the citizens of As Yet Unnamed enjoy a world-class quality of life and safe surroundings to live, work, and play. |
